Peer Helpers
Mision Statement
The SHS Peer Helpers, a group of teenagers for teenagers, have a mission to serve others by highlighting the importance of lending a helping hand, standing up for others, and appreciating our differences while ultimately working to establish an accepting school environment through examples of personal integrity and positive relationships.
The Peer Helpers are Satsuma High School students who are trained to be the best possible helper to their fellow Gators. The Peer Helpers spend the school year learning about the best forms of communicating with their peers--including peer mediation and conflict resolution-- and performing various service projects to encourage and uplift the student body.
If you are interested in becoming a Peer Helper in future school terms, please see Mrs. Miller in room 512.
