Coach Rodney Jordan
Coach Rodney Jordan enters his 23rd season in coaching and his fourth as Head Coach of the Satsuma Gators. Prior to coming to Satsuma, Coach Jordan has served as Offensive Coordinator at Eufaula, Elba, and Charles Henderson High Schools. In 2019, his Eufaula Tiger
offense led Class 6A in scoring by averaging 41.6 points per game. In 2016, his Elba Tiger offense averaged 43.2 points per game. His 2013, Charles Henderson Trojan offense set the school record by averaging 41.7 points per game as they finished the Class 4A state runner-up. A native of Goshen, AL, Coach Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education from Troy University, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of South Alabama. While at Troy University, Coach Jordan was a member of the school’s first FBS football team. Coach Jordan has been married to his wife Donna for 21 years.

Josh Andrews- Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers
Coach Andrews is entering his 4th year as the Defensive Coordinator for the Gators. He has had previous stops at Baldwin County where he had the number one scoring defense in the region and lead the team to their first playoff appearance in 14 years and first playoff win in 21 years; Thomasville where he was the co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach and saw the defense maintain a top 10 scoring defense each season; Clay-Chalkville, Elkmont, and Athens. He has helped develop numerous All-State and All-County players, as well as, seeing many players sign to play college football. He is married to Kristina Andrews, and they have 4 children: Raymus, Rayne, Rooney, and Reid. He is extremely proud to be a part of the Satsuma Family. Go Gators!

Dalton Steiner- Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line
Coach Steiner is entering his third year at Satsuma High School and brings a total of ten years of coaching experience. Prior to joining the Satsuma staff, he spent seven years at his alma mater, Alma Bryant High School. He currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, responsible for developing the offensive run schemes and leading the offensive line. In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Steiner teaches Career Tech Education at Satsuma.
Coach Steiner holds a Bachelor’s degree in History Education from the University of Mobile and a Master’s degree in History Education from the University of West Alabama. Over the course of his career, he has coached multiple sports including baseball, basketball, track and field, and wrestling—playing a key role in starting the wrestling program at Alma Bryant. He has also coached several athletes who have gone on to earn Division I scholarships and All-State honors, a testament to his leadership and impact both on and off the field.

Justin Harris- Defensive Backs
Justin Harris is a proud graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School, class of 2007! Justin holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Leisure Studies. He is currently getting his Master’s in Education and will be graduating next May. He is currently teaching Physical
Education and Strength & Conditioning at the High School. Coach Harris is in his second stint coaching football with the Gators.
Harris is also the Head Basketball Coach for the Boys and Girls Varsity teams. He also assists with the Track and Field teams. Harris is married to Mrs. Angeleca Harris.

Korey Collins- Defensive Line
Coach Collins is in his fourth year at Satsuma and sixth year overall in coaching. A 2017 graduate of Saraland High School, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he majored in Sport Coaching. He began his coaching career in Mississippi, spending the 2020 season at Moss Point High School and the 2021 season at Ocean Springs High School — bothprograms earned district championships during his time on staff. In 2022, Coach Collins returned to Alabama and joined the staff at Satsuma High School, where he currently coaches the Defensive Line and serves as a Physical Education paraprofessional.

Zach Brown-Running Backs
Coach Brown is entering his second year at Satsuma High School, where he serves as the running backs coach for the varsity football team after serving as the wide receiver coach last year. He is beginning his fifth year overall as a coach, with prior experience including three years at St. Paul's Episcopal School and one year at Hankins Middle School before returned to Satsuma, his alma mater. In addition to football, Coach Brown also coaches middle school baseball.
Beyond athletics, Coach Brown is a Special Education teacher at Satsuma, working with 9th and 11th grade students. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Collaborative Special Education from the University of Mobile and takes great pride in giving back to the school that shaped him, having graduated from Satsuma with the Class of 2019.

Caison Heubach- Tight Ends
Coach Caison Heubach is in his third year at Satsuma High School, where he coaches H-backs in football, as well as wrestling and baseball. A 2008 graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School, he went on to walk on as a tight end for the University of South Alabama’s inaugural football team. Since 2017, Coach Heubach has volunteered with the Satsuma Youth Association and
has also coached two travel baseball teams, positively impacting young athletes in and beyond the local community.
In addition to coaching, he has worked in the steel industry for 16 years and is known for his strong work ethic and leadership. He and his wife, Lainey, have been married for 15 years and are proud parents to three children—Christian, William, and Norah.

Jacob Preisser- Wide Receivers
This is Coach Preisser's second season coaching at Satsuma, working as the Wide Receivers Coach. He has been coaching organized sports for nine years and has been involved with Sports Performance Personal Training for six years. He has competed and coached a variety of sports at various levels, including Football, Boxing, Baseball, Basketball and Track & Field. Through the years, he has obtained NSCA, CIC and Sports Nutrition Certifications, along with earning a USA Boxing Certification. Some of his coaching highlights prior to coming to Satsuma, include assisting in coaching a Football program to its first winning record in nearly 30 years. Helping define standards and achieving benchmarks is a challenge he embraces. He has also helped student athletes obtain college scholarships through athletics. He has assisted in producing several Track State Finalists and State champions, and he
also proudly coached xoxers to compete in numerous tournaments, including the Golden Gloves, Master Boxing Invitationals and the National Junior Olympics. However, his proudest moments have always been helping young student athletes achieve their goals in life through sports and outside of sports.

Ashley Hines- Athletic Trainer
Ashley Hines begins her fourth year as the head athletic trainer at Satsuma High School where she trains and cares for over 15 Gator teams. She has been a certified Athletic Trainer for three years and is employed by Infirmary Health Hospital Systems and works with Gulf Orthopaedics. She is going on her second year as a preceptor for the University of Mobile, Master's of Athletic Training program as well as having high school students assist her on the sidelines during the Football season with taping and basic first aid skills.
Hines attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she gained clinical experience with D1 programs such as football, beach volleyball, a local 7A high school s well as Jones College. She attained a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2022 and started working with Satsuma High School that following summer. She was a student ambassador for the College of Nursing and Health Professions and was involved in many other organizations on campus such as Fraternity and Sorority Life, SGA, and was a recipient of a Who’s Who award which is the highest leadership honor available for Southern Miss students.
